Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SpeedSound LLC ("SpeedSound," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to speedsound.ai and our audio, translation, and voice-generation tools (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
The Service accepts text, audio, or video you submit ("Input") and produces translated text, generated speech, or processed media ("Output"). The Service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued as we improve it. We may set reasonable limits on file size, format, text length, processing volume, and availability.
The current basic Service does not require a credit card. If we introduce paid features, the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms shown at purchase will apply in addition to these Terms.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain any ownership rights you have in your Input and Output. You grant SpeedSound a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, modify, and transmit your Input and Output only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service and comply with law. This license ends when the files are deleted, except for limited copies we must retain by law.
You represent that:
- you own your Input or have all rights and permissions needed to upload and process it;
- processing the Input will not violate another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights; and
- you have obtained any consent required from people whose voice, image, or personal information appears in the Input.
The Service is not intended as permanent file storage. You are responsible for downloading and safely storing any Output you want to keep. Our handling and retention of files is further described in our Privacy Notice.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate a law or another person's rights;
- upload content you do not have permission to process;
- harass, exploit, impersonate, defraud, or create deceptive or non-consensual media about another person;
- distribute malware or content intended to damage or disrupt systems;
- bypass access, rate, safety, or security controls;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or extract models, source code, or non-public data except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- interfere with the Service or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on it.
We may block a file or suspend access when we reasonably believe these Terms, law, or the security of the Service has been violated.
5. Output and AI limitations
AI translation, speech generation, and noise removal are probabilistic. Output may contain translation errors, unnatural speech, altered audio, or artifacts. You must review Output before publishing or relying on it. AI-generated speech must not be represented as a real person's speech, and SpeedSound is not affiliated with TikTok. We do not guarantee that Output will be accurate, natural, unique, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.
The Service is not designed for emergency communications, medical diagnosis, legal or forensic evidence, identity verification, or other high-risk uses where an error could cause significant harm.
6. SpeedSound intellectual property
The Service—including its software, interface, branding, models, documentation, and other content provided by SpeedSound—is owned by SpeedSound or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but you are not required to provide feedback.
7. Third-party services
The Service may depend on third-party hosting, storage, media-processing, analytics, or other providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. SpeedSound is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others, comply with law, respond to prolonged outages, or address a violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and Output are provided "as is" and "as available." SpeedSound disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and that the Service will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeedSound LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data arising from the Service or Output.
Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid SpeedSound for the Service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US $100. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify SpeedSound and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your Input, your unlawful use of Output, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from SpeedSound's own unlawful conduct.
12. Governing law and disputes
Before filing a formal claim, you and SpeedSound agree to try to resolve the dispute in good faith by contacting the other party. You can contact us at contact@speedsound.co.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SpeedSound LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms here, update the date above, and provide additional notice for material changes when required. Your continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
14. General
These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and SpeedSound about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Service.
